Examiner (Biology)

Vacancies exist for the post of Assistant Examiners for various Subjects in WAEC.

Job Summary:

Examiner also assess written scripts produced by candidates under exam conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Requirements
Possess a minimum of first degree or its equivalent in a field related to the subject he/she wishes to examine;
Have a minimum of two years post- NYSC teaching experience preferably in a Senior Secondary School;
Possess thorough knowledge of the subject he/she wishes to examine;
See Available Subjects/Papers Complete the prescribed application form;
Come along with the credentials to the marking centre for sighting and attach photocopies to the completed application form;
Be a person of high integrity, therefore there must be an attestation to his/her character from the current employer.

Qualifications:

B.Sc., B. Sc. (Ed), B. Ed, B. Tech and HND:

Biology
Botany
Biological Sciences
Microbiology
Zoology
Animal Biology
and Environment Animal and Environmental Biology
Cell Biology and genetics/Molecular Biology
Plant Biology
Plant science
Guidance and Counseling with Biology as teaching subject.

The following additional qualifications will be accepted with evidence of teaching Biology for a minimum of not less than four (4) years:

B.Ed./B.Sc. Science
Parasitology
Entomology
Plant Physiology
Animal Physiology
Anatomy.
Integrated Science
