TB Joshua Lied To Us-Family Of Deceased Zimbabwean Woman

A Zimbabwean woman Catherine Ndlovu, who allegedly paid thousands of dollars to visit Nigeria, seeking divine intervention for her hospitalized daughter has been reported as one of the  115 people confirmed to have died after the collapse of Synagogue lodging building.

She left Zimbabwe on September 11, a day after her 19 year-old daughter, Prioress Tshuma, who had suffered from seizures since 2007, was admitted in a Hospital. Believing the seizures were caused by an evil spirit, she came to seek divine intervention from TB Joshua .Hours ours after her arrival in Lagos, she died leaving behind her daughter and a son. The family of the 40 year old has accused TB Joshua and his church for lying to them that their mo ther was alive only to dash their hopes later.
.Her brother told he South African Chronicle

“we called them (TB Joshua church) every day, asking where my sister was and they said she had boarded a plane back to South Africa and would be back last Sunday. “We became suspicious when other Zimbabweans who had travelled to Nigeria came back via South Africa and she was not part of the group. It became clear they’d been lying to us and withholding information from us all along.” Their uncle, Jabulani, was battling with a lot of questions and accused the church of attempting a clumsy cover-up. “When we heard news of the collapse, we feared the worst.

There was no communication from the church until my cousin, who lives in South Africa, called them. They just put up a wall of lies and kept telling us she was safe. It would be only several days later that they confirmed our worst fears,” he said. But the family’s hope of getting Catherine’s body any time soon were immediately dashed after TB Joshua’s aides asked them to provide a DNA sample for positive identification.

“We don’t even know if that’s true, and our only hope now is that our government can get to the bottom of this. Who knows how many other Zimbabweans have been kept in the dark about their relatives’ fate?”

PHOTO: Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Already Having Trouble In Marriage?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may not be having the best of time anymore and this photo proves it. The couple and their daughter were at Balenciaga's show during Paris Fashion Week where they sat at the front row.

But series of shots of them saw the couple looking too serious with no sign of bliss except for their daughter who was all happy and playful. This is in contrast with Kim who would have at least smiled for the cameras.    That makes us think the couple are already having a hard time in their marriage which caused the stern faces in the first place. Or could it be that the couple are having a hard time coming to terms with Kim nude pictures which found their way online weekend?

Earlier in the week after Kim's nude photos leaked online, photogs ran into Kanye but noticed he wasn't his usual self. According to report, his face appeared not friendly that photogs were afraid to ask how he felt about his wife nude leaked photos. Visit website

Chibok Community Doubts Found Girl Is From Chibok, Says She May Be Pregnant

The Force Public Relations officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, yesterday September 25th announced that a young girl found at the Mubi area of Borno state on Wednesday September 24th was one of the missing Chibok girls but the National Chairman of the Chibok Association, Dr Pogu Bitrus, is not so sure it's true. Speaking with TheCable Nigeria, Dr Bitrus, said they are not sure the girl is from their community as her name is not on their list of the missing Chibok girls.

He said a preliminary medical examination conducted in a clinic showed the girl was pregnant but a definitive conclusion on her pregnancy status will be carried out in a proper hospital to confirm

"I was speaking Kibaku to her but she didn't respond. She was incoherent. She may be having mental issues as result of the trauma. When she was picked up, she was taken to a clinic, not a standard hospital where some test were carried out on her. From the test, it was said she is pregnant but that is still in the speculative domain because a qualified doctor has not confirmed she is pregnant. However we are still trying to establish if she is from Chibok because from our sources, the last name of the released girl does not tally with the surname of the person bearing the first name of the released girl captured in our records and whose father is a carpenter in Chibok so we are still trying to work out every detail" he said.

Released Chibok Girl Is 4 Months Pregnant

One of the abducted Chibok girls recently released by the Boko Haram insurgents, Susan Ishaya, is four months pregnant, chairman of Chibok community in Abuja, Tsamdo Hosea Abana, has confirmed.

Abana, who made the disclosure through phone chat with Leadership, lamented the trauma parents and the abducted girls are going through, saying their lives will never be the same again.

Security sources said Miss Ishaya was found near a police station in the border town of Mubi on Wednesday after she was left there by the insurgents. Abana confirmed that the girl in question was among the schoolgirls abducted by the insurgent group about five months ago in Chibok, Borno State, adding that she has been moved to Adamawa State Police Headquarters in Yola.

“Susan is actually one of our daughters abducted from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok. She was found in Mubi where her abductors dumped her and she was later taken to Yola. It has been proved that the girl is four months pregnant, and she is psychological and physically traumatized,” he stated. Abana, who pleaded with the police authorities to ensure that she is given adequate medical attention considering her plight, also called on federal government to step up efforts toward freeing the remaining girls and re-uniting them with their families. He revealed that the girl is suffering from trauma and there are signs of physical abuses on her body, saying he believed the insurgents subjected their captives to horrible physical and sexual abuses.

“Evidently, the girl was subjected to serious abuse. There are bruises on her body, and she is suffering from psychological trauma”, Abana stated. Sources at the Police Clinic in Yola confirmed that Miss Ishaya was on admission at the clinic where she was receiving treatment but that she was taken to the police headquarters in the morning. However, a source said the girl might have been referred to a better hospital.
The police public relations oficer (PPRO), Michael Haa, declined to speak on the matter, saying the military had taken charge of security in the state since the declaration of state of emergency by President Jonathan in 2013. Attempts to speak to the Army public relations officer, Captain Jafaru Nuhu, were not successful as his phone was switched off.

Nigerian Senate Says Soldiers Sentenced To Death For Mutiny Deserve To Die

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday said it would not plead with the Nigerian Army to spare the lives of 12 soldiers recently sentenced to death for mutiny.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence, George Sekibo, said this in Abuja after a closed-door meeting with the nation’s service chiefs. The service chiefs were led to the high-profile meeting, which lasted over three hours, by the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh. Briefing journalists after the meeting, Mr. Sekibo said the senate was not under pressure to intervene to save the lives of the soldiers because the judgment convicting them was in the best interest of the Nigerian military.

“No we are not (under pressure) because the Armed Forces is established by an Act of the National Assembly. The Act spelt out categorically the conduct of soldiers and the way they are to behave wherever they are. If you join the military that Act is to guide you and your conduct.   If you go contrary to any of the prescribed sections of the Act the punishment prescribed for the Act you violated will come on you. So the military did not just wake up one day and say that they are going to kill Mr A or Mr B. They (military) went through the necessary processes and they found them guilty,” he said. The committee chairman however said that those found guilty could go on appeal and the rulings from the appeal would be binding on them. “But I think that those found guilty also have a way out. They can go on appeal and if the appeal finds them not guilty that will be it. But for what the military has done, they have done the best thing because you must instil discipline in the Armed Forces. If you don’t do so, one day all of us here will be sacked and you will not hear of this place again,” he said.

Mr. Sekibo called on Nigerians to encourage the military to ensure that it discharged its duties effectively. The 12 Nigerian soldiers were on September 16, sentenced to death for mutiny after firing shots at their commanding officer, Abubakar Mohammed, in Maiduguri on May 14. A nine-member military tribunal, sitting in Abuja, convicted the soldiers. Court president Chukwuemeka Okonkwo said the sentences were subject to confirmation by Nigeria’s military authorities but added there was no doubt about the gravity of the offence.

However, while the Senate believes the soldiers deserve to die, the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, is pleading with the Nigerian Army to lighten the death sentence.

Abandoned Chibok Girl Found

A girl believed to be one of the 219 Chibok schoolgirls in Boko Haram’s custody for more than 160 days has been found abandoned.

She was picked up at Kwarihi village near Biu in Borno State after being thrown out of a moving Volkswagen Golf car. She wandered in the bush for two days before she was rescued by villagers. The Chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja, Hosea Tsambido, recounted this story yesterday. He spoke at the gathering of the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners on a day Borno State Government announced a scholarship of N1.4million each for 36 girls – among the 57 who escaped on April 15 from abductors.

According to Tsambido, the abandoned girl, who gave her name as Susanna Ishaya, appeared mentally unstable. He said she had been handed over to one of the Chibok parents who took her to the hospital after which she would be properly questioned. Tsambido said:
“One of the girls was ferried in a Volkswagen golf and thrown into the bush about two days ago and she wandered into the village of Kwarihi, near Mubi. From there they called one of the parents to take care of her in Kwarihi. They are taking her to Yola. When she was asked, she gave her name as Susanna Ishaya but right now we are not sure if it is her real name until she is really treated because the people that saw her said she is both mentally and phsycally sick and has been taken to the hospital. We believe that she was probably abandoned by Boko Haram because of her health.”

The Borno State Government yesterday granted scholarship to 36 of the 57 Chibok school girls who slipped away from  Boko Haram abductors. As at yesterday, 219 Chibok girls were still in the custody of Boko Haram although there had been reported covert talks to set them free. Governor Kashim Shettima said the 36 girls have been admitted into international schools in Abuja, Kaduna and Plateau States. Fifty one (51) of the girls were meant for admission after six secured a scholarship at an international school in Yola, Adamawa State.

The governor said the government is spending a minimum of N1.4million annual fees on each of the schoolgirls in their new schools besides other costs for welfare. The governor, who spoke at a brief farewell for the girls at the Government House in Maiduguri , pleaded not to disclose the names of the schools. He said the schools were kept under wrap in order to shield the girls from public distraction and to safeguard the security of the girls and the new schools.

52 Boko Haram Members Arrested In Biu,Borno State

52 Boko Haram members have reportedly been arrested in separate operations in Biu Borno state by security operatives. According to military sources, the men were arrested between yesterday Sept. 23rd and today September 24th.

A military source said some of the sect men had boarded a truck in a bid to leave the state but were arrested after the truck driver notified soldiers at a checkpoint that passengers in his vehicle had threatened to kill him if he did not take them out of the state.

"We arrested over 50 members of the Islamic sect following tips we got from the driver as well as locals. I can tell you they are cooperating and giving us useful information" the security source said A member of the local volunteer group, Aliyu Mamza, said his group was also instrumental to the arrest of the sect members. According to him, 46 BH men hid in the compartment of the truck meant for transporting goats and were exposed after the driver of the truck notified soldiers. Six other members were arrested at the Biu bus station as they were about boarding a bus out of Borno.

2015: Association Of Witches Declares Jonathan Winner

Inner Coven Society Worldwide, a non-political affiliate and association of witches, says there is no vacancy in Aso Rock, come 2015 presidential election. According to the society, the election has already been concluded in the spiritual realm and won by President Goodluck Jonathan. President-General of the society, Dr. Omo Ebosele,  told SunNews:

“The Inner Coven Society World-wide, as the minds that have travelled into the unseen and the unknown, is using this opportunity to say that the 2015 presidential election in Nigeria is a foregone issue. The election has been won and lost in the spirit realm. The candidate who by destiny has the overwhelming support of our society as well as other supernatural principalities in the high places is President Jonathan  and he has won the election.” Ebosele added that it would be a wild goose chase for any opponent to rise against Jonathan in the election, stressing that the society, in collaboration with other principalities and forces, had since 2011, favoured the incumbent president. His words:
“The Inner Coven Society worldwide is not a political organisation; neither are we affiliated to any political party or association. Our society is the general assembly of all the witches across the various continents of the earth; we are not evil in our operation; we supernaturally discern and support any course that is meant for the good of the people across the various countries of the world.  Divine hand is solidly upon President Jonathan, but as it has been from the time of creation; the evil forces who do not mean well, who are out to scuttle divine agenda are against him. But there is no cause for alarm because the battle has been fought and won already in the spirit.  Our proof is we were also the first to warn that the 2011 election was going to be bloody in some states, and that two sitting governors were going to die in office before the expiration of their tenure, if the necessary spiritual intervention is not sought. Of course no one need to be told the of the bloody violence that erupted in some Northern states during and after the election and remember two governors who were involved in air mishaps, one of the two governors did not survive the air accident. The other survived it because of our spiritual intervention,” he claimed.

Dr Ebosele expressed confidence that the war against Boko Haram insurgency will be won, marinating that darkness cannot triumph over light. “The issue of Boko Haram will soon fade out from our daily reality as a country. Our society is not evil in operations neither are we fetish, but we have supernatural powers to control events for the good of humanity,” he said.

Boko Haram Agrees To Release 219 Chibok Girls In Swap Deal

After much persuasion, Boko Haram has agreed to release the abducted 219 Chibok girls if the Federal Government will simultaneously set free its 18 key commanders.

TheNation reports that the two parties have asked their representatives to go back to their leaders on the new swap deal proposal. Prior to the latest agreement at the talks in Abuja, which was witnessed by some officials of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Boko Haram had insisted on a piecemeal release of the girls, with priority given to 30 married Christians among them.

The Federal Government also offered to release six of the 18 sect leaders in detention. The two sides maintained a parallel stand until they met again in Abuja at a session facilitated by the President, Civil Rights Congress (CRC),  Comrade Shehu Sani. The sect said if the government attempted to secure the girls by force, it might lead to fatalities. At the meeting, Boko Haram also maintained that it had the capacity to “engage the Federal Government for 45 years”. It said the outcome of the talks would determine the end of the insurgency. Some of those at the talks gave insights into the new dimension to the moves to free the Chibok girls, who were abducted from their hostel on April 15. It was gathered that the session was attended by ICRC officials. One of those who attended  said:
The sect shifted its position and agreed to release all the girls instead of 30 Christian married girls it had promised. But Boko Haram said it does not trust the government going by previous experience. If the government had respected previous talks, the Chibok girls were initially meant to be off the hook during the Eid-el Fitr festival. Again about two weeks ago, a delegation was already in Maiduguri until the swap deal was bungled.

Some security agents only advised on the release of six out of the 18 leaders of the sect. They rated the rest 12 as dangerous. When the insurgents found out, they backtracked and demanded the release of the 18 leaders. The development paved the way for the latest talks in Abuja which involved the ICRC. By the new arrangement, ICRC will pick up the girls and simultaneously hand over the detained 18 leaders to Boko Haram. The government also said it would not free the detained leaders of Boko Haram until all the girls were released.

Asked what was eventually agreed upon, another source at the session said: “We generally agreed that all the parties should go back to their leaders on the agreement reached. The government said no to piecemeal release of the girls and Boko Haram claimed that it will not have any business with the government until all the 18 leaders of the sect are freed. After the Eid-el-Kabir festival, the two parties will meet again on the terms to finalise the agreement or part ways.

Before the meeting rose, Boko Haram representatives warned against the use of force to liberate the girls. It also made it clear that it had the “capacity to take on the Federal Government for the next 45 years.” Responding to a question on whether the sect will end the insurgency or not, another source said: “The delegation from Boko Haram said the outcome of the latest round of talks will determine whether they should ceasefire or not.”

Defence HQ Says Chibok Girls Were Rescued, Then Withdraws Statement

Found this breaking news report on Premium Times. Apparently the Nigeria military said today that some schoolgirls abducted from Chibok town in April this year had been rescued by Nigerian troops only to retract the statement minutes later. Read the report below...

The Defence Headquarters has retracted its earlier statement confirming the rescue of the abducted Chibok girls. The spokesperson for the defence headquarters, Chris Olukolade, had told Premium Times that a yet unclear number of the girls had been freed and driven in two Toyota Hiace buses to the Maimalari Barracks, the headquarters of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri. But less than 30 minutes after he spoke to us, Mr. Olukolade called back to say he was withdrawing his earlier statement. He said he had been having difficulty establishing contact with his colleagues in Maiduguri and that he was no longer sure that the girls driven into the barracks were newly rescued.

Mr. Olukolade had told this newspaper the girls had been freed and that the rescue exercise was still ongoing and that appropriate statement would be made later. Premium Times has also learnt that the girls driven into the Maimalari barracks were those who escaped earlier from the Boko Haram sect. The over 200 girls, mostly teenagers, were kidnapped from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno State, on April 14. With the military withdrawing its statement, it now does appear the girls are still in captivity

Boko Haram: Shekau Impersonator Killed By Nigerian Troops?

The Nigerian military may have recorded a major victory in the war against Boko Haram as the man suspected to be mimicking late Abubakar Shekau in recent videos from the sect, may have been killed during the September 17th battle in Konduga, Borno state.

A senior military source said "it is getting more certain that the terrorists' commander who has been mimicking Shekau in those videos is the one killed in Konduga on September 17." Sources at the image making company of the Nigerian government, PRNigeria, say the death of the man believed to be the leader of the group is responsible for the scattering of the sect members in different independent locations in neighboring countries.

Security sources did not deny the suspicion but cautioned that "the process of confirming that the dead body we have is the same as that character who has been posing as Shekau is ongoing. He is definitely a prominent terrorist commander. I don't want to say anything about this yet please." Another high ranking military source said that the resemblance between the man killed and the one seen in recent videos posted by the sect group is quite striking, citing his facial marks, beards and teeth as some of the striking resemblance features.

Military officers say the Defence Headquarters will address the nation after a full investigation of their latest discovery has been done. Meanwhile the Defense headquarters say five members of the sect group surrendered their arms to the Nigerian troops yesterday, pleading for mercy. They said some captured members of the sect group are helping with useful information regarding future planned attacks by the sect.

Synagogue Church Release Statement On Building Collapse, Says It Was An Attack

The Synagogue Church of all Nations has released an official statement via their Facebook page on the building collapse within their premises on Friday September 12th which has so far claimed over 77 lives.

They say it was an attack on the church and in particular, their leader, T.B Joshua and have vowed to reveal the persons behind it. (they shared this pic purportedly showing an aircraft close to the building minutes before the building collapse) Find the statement below..
Emmanuel – God is with us.  The pain of one is the pain of all. It is indeed a sad and painful moment for the families and friends who have lost loved ones. It is equally so for us in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (The SCOAN), under the leadership of Prophet T.B. Joshua. On Friday, September 12, 2014, at about 12:44pm, one of the buildings on The SCOAN property unexpectedly collapsed, tragically resulting in death and injury. Nigerians and citizens of other nations were affected.

This incident was preceded by the appearance of a strange aircraft which flew very low over the building four times and then disappeared. Since the day of this incident, The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, its members and partners, have worked in collaboration with the Nigerian, South African and other nations’ authorities to ensure that survivors are rescued, attended to with the best medical treatment, cared for in the most humane and hospitable manner and reunited with their families, while those who passed on - martyrs of the Kingdom of God - are retrieved, identified and treated respectfully. Amongst those we are working hand-in-hand with, are:
The Federal Government of Nigeria, the Government of the Republic of South Africa, Lagos State Government, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA),  the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Lagos State Ministry of Health - doctors and nurses, the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), the Red Cross, the Nigeria Police Force and various Non-governmental and humanitarian organisations and construction and engineering corporations.

"It is very sad that inaccurate reports are coming from some quarters that we are not cooperating with the rescue teams and other agencies in collating information and providing assistance on the incident. Contrary to this, we want to categorically state that the church has provided assistance when and where required and continues to do so - good Christians are good citizens.

We emphasise our commitment to cooperate with all relevant authorities in establishing the cause of the collapse of the building.   The church views this tragedy as part of an attack on The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations and in particular, Prophet T.B. Joshua. In due course, God will reveal the perpetrators of this unfortunate tragedy.

"We wish to express our gratitude to all who continue to work tirelessly, show their solidarity and share their condolences in this grievous time, particularly all Government and non-Governmental bodies mentioned above, Diplomatic Missions, National and International media houses, society groups, traditional rulers, all concerned citizens and the residents of our local community, Ikotun-Egbe. We equally appreciate all members and partners of The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV, along with Christians and clergy worldwide for their prayers and support.

To all those who lost family members and loved ones, please accept our heart-felt commiserations. No one knows by the present sign or situation what the future holds. We must therefore live each day as if it were our last and leave tomorrow’s trouble for the One who bore our troubles on the cross. We thank God for the martyrs and we pray for the family members and loved ones left behind."
