Celebs And The Prices They Pay For Being Star

Honestly, I dont get bothered about these hip-hop acts and their flamboyant showoff kind of lifestyles. After all, Wizkid isnt the first to make big money, Dollars especially and shows it off on social media. International stars do it a lot and our very own P-Square, Olamide and others have in the past shown off dollar bills made from shows. So, why is Wizzys case so different? Why wont he showoff his dollars anyway which he works really hard to make. However, im own don dey too much sef. How you may ask? Yeah, this isnt the first time hed showoff dollas on social media but what I dont really like about the whole thing is that how he drags his fans in the mud all in the name of shutting them up. Every celeb knows he has to pay some price for being a star, and these price includes both negative and positive comments. So, when a fan of his made the negative comment about all Wizzy does on social media being just to show off his assets, the artiste pounced on the fan, saying he hes made more money than the dude ever made in his life. What for Wizzy? Have you also forgotten where you started from? You had nothing man! You started from the scratch until your harwork and outstanding musical talent paved the way, thanks to Banky W who gave you the needed push. So why call someone else a pauper? Too much money I think is the problem here and the fact that he got so rich at a young age. Notwithstanding, pride isnt what you need here Wizzy. The more money you make, the more humble you should be.

NFF Spying On Super Eagles Group Opponents

The Nigeria Football Federation has said that they are doing everything they can in their power to make sure the super eagles excel in their World Cup competition, even if they have to spy on their opponents to know what their system of play as the Super Eagles aim to excel at the World Cup. While addressing a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu said the federation is not relenting in its task of monitoring their Group F opponents. A lot of work is going on with regards to doing espionage on Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Argentina. It is not like anybody is sleeping whether from the technical crew or from the Nigeria Football Federation. Everything is being done to monitor players of Nigeria, players of Bosnia, Iran and Argentina," said Amadu. We are watching and monitoring the players of all the other countries whether they are playing, the players that are playing, those that are injured, those that are hot like [Edin] Dzeko and those that are not doing very well. A lot of hard work is going on as we speak." There are still two more friendlies to be played, against Scotland in May before proceeding to the United States for its final camping in June. I know against Scotland more players will be invited. They will then go to the United States of America to camp and where the 23 players for the World Cup will then be selected," he said. I think we should go into this World Cup with confidence and optimism too. I dont have any doubt about this competition this time around.

Child Bride Killed Husband,3 Others

Four people have been confirmed dead after eating a poisonous food prepared by a child bride in Kano State North West Nigeria. Addressing a news conference, the Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji Musa Majiya, said that the suspect, Wasila Umar, had confessed to have poisoned her husbands food in which no fewer than fourteen people were affected. Wasila Umar, a 14 year old minor was made under duress, to marry one Umar Sani, a 35 year old man who also had one wife and two children. Two weeks after the wedding, Wasillas plan to get rid of her husband materialized when she mixed rodenticide with the husbands food which was eaten by fourteen people, leaving three, including the husband dead on the spot. Early marriage mixed with compulsory weddings is very common in most parts of northern Nigeria especially in far remote communities where social learning facilities are either inadequate or completely absent. In the case of Wasila, she claimed that when she repeatedly told her parents that she was not in love with the man, the wedding was still made to go ahead and that the only way for her to have a balanced life was to do away with her husband. The teenager told Police she bought rat poison at a village market and used it to prepare a dish of rice. I told them I dont like the man but instead for them to consider me, they kept on beating me every day so as to justify to me getting married to him. In the end they succeeded and I had to kill him because I dont love him, she said. Wasilas father, however, has denied giving out his daughter against her wish. Umar said that Wasila brought in three people among which he chose one whom she killed. I did not force her into marrying him, she brought in three people for me and I had to make a choice, he claimed. Although Wasila is in Police custody, it is expected that there would be no case to build against her by virtue of being a minor. This, however, is subject to the judges interpretation of the case, as Wasila or her parents could still be jailed for life. Ten others who ate the poisoned food have been treated and discharged from the hospital, while the remaining four including the husband were buried in accordance with Islamic principles. It has been said that in ideal Islamic wedding arrangements, Wasila is not due for marriage since she is less than 18 years, as Islam strongly condemns compulsory marriage.

Babangida Urges NFF TO Leave Keshi Alone

A former Nigeria international, Tijani Babangida, has urged the Nigeria Football Federation and well meaning individuals to support Stephen Keshi and the Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup and no criticize them. Babangida said in Abuja that by so doing, the team would be spurred to improve on what other African countries had done at the World Cup. We must avoid any pitfall. I read about the query they gave him (Keshi) in the newspapers. All that is unnecessary at this stage, such distractions, shouldnt even be made public. It is not good at all. Keshi is someone Ive known for a long time and I have no doubt that he will do the nation proud if the NFA can give him all the necessary support he needs. I have a good feeling Nigeria will do well at the World Cup, he told the News Agency of Nigeria.

37 people Killed In Fresh Fighting In CAR

At least 37 people died between Thursday and Friday during fighting between the anti-Balaka militia and ex- Seleka rebels in Central African Republic’s central town of Dekoa, a source from CAR Red Cross said.

The Red Cross source said anti-Balaka militia attacked the position of ex-Seleka rebels in Dekoa, provoking fierce fighting. “At the moment, we have counted 37 bodies and already buried 10. “
The insecurity does not allow us to continue collecting dead bodies,’’ the source that did not wish to be named said.
By midday, there was still confusion in Dekoa town.
One section of the population had taken refuge in the bush while the other took refuge in a Catholic church within the locality.
According to Youssouf Adam, an officer of the ex-Seleka rebels present in the town, his fighters are in full control of the town. “We just responded to the provocation of anti-Balaka militia while in our camps,’’ he told Xinhua on phone. Similar clashes were witnessed on the same day along the road leading to the northern town of Bossangoa as well as along Bozoum- Bouar road.
The AU peacekeeping mission is charged with the responsibility of providing security along the border of Dekoa and Bozoum.
The mission has promised to address the media on the fresh clashes after compiling all the information.
The attacks come at a time when the anti-Balakas and the ex- Seleka rebels had vowed to end hostilities to allow peace to be restored in Bangui and other towns.

As far as budget smartphones are concerned, the Nokia X is as good as they come. While I have come to terms with using it as my daily driver, I often find myself switching occasionally to my Android tablet, just to get my fix of Google services.
Yes it  may be based on Android but the Nokia X is not a complete Android phone.
If you’re like me, knee deep in the Android ecosystem, and you currently own (or are planning to buy) a Nokia X, you’d be glad to know you can finally turn things around.
Thanks to this cool dude over at XDA Developers. He has developed a Custom Vanilla Android ROM. complete with Qualcomm hardware-specific optimizations.
And apparently, it is already quite stable. It was only a matter of time. When the Nokia X first came out, techies already found a way to root the device and install Google Apps.
Now it’s possible to wipe the stock Nokia X OS clean and flash Vanilla Android unto it.
It means your Nokia can finally become a true Android phone.
There’s a minor issue though. The Nokia X has only one button which you use both for multitasking and going to the previous activity.
This doesn’t fit well with stock android, where you need at least 2 buttons (physical or virtual) to navigate around the UI. But it looks like the developer has it covered, as he included a version with software navigation bar.
All the instructions for flashing the custom ROM unto your device can be found right here. (Warning: not for the fainthearted).
I will most likely be trying it out myself. I have only one issue: While the absence of Google services like Gmail, Google Contacts sync, Google Drive and the Play store on the Nokia X is somewhat unbearable the ability to add Google services is enough motivation to switch to the custom ROM, I actually love the Nokia X User Interface. I wish I didn’t have to give that away.

Luis Suarez And Jon Flanagan Won Penalties Either Side To Keep The Pressure On Manchester City And Chelsea In The Title Race

Luis Suarez and Jon Flanagan won penalties either side of a controversial Guy Demel equaliser to keep the pressure on Manchester City and Chelsea in the title race Steven Gerrard twice held his nerve from the penalty spot to keep Liverpool's title bid on course with a battling 2-1 win at West Ham.

Referee Anthony Taylor found himself at the centre of the action at Upton Park from the moment he penalised James Tomkins for handball late in the first half, allowing Gerrard to notch his first goal two minutes before the break.

GERRARD HOLDS NERVE TO KEEP TITLE DREAM ALIVE

But West Ham went in level through Guy Demel's first goal for the club, which came after Simon Mignolet had dropped a corner under pressure of highly questionable legality from ex-Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.
Carroll headed against the crossbar after the hour before West Ham's Adrian became the second goalkeeper to fall foul of Taylor, who adjudged him to have impeded Jon Flanagan for Gerrard's second penalty in the 71st minute.
Luis Suarez curled a first-time effort against the frame of the goal late on, but Liverpool had already done enough to maintain their quest for the Premier League crown. Brendan Rodgers' side return to the top of the table, two points above Chelsea and four ahead of Manchester City - who have played two games less and head to Anfield for what looks set to be a season-defining encounter in seven days' time. Napoli loanee Pablo Armero made his full debut for West Ham after left-back George McCartney suffered a hamstring strain in Monday's 2-1 win at Sunderland.

A knee injury suffered in training by Daniel Agger meant a change for Liverpool at centre-back - Mamadou Sakho starting for the first time since they last lost in the league, at Chelsea on December 29.

Suarez had been the central figure in the subsequent 11 wins and two league draws, and the forward glanced the top of the netting with an early free kick.   Largely well shackled by Tomkins during the opening stages, Suarez engineered room to arch a delicate 20th-minute attempt against the far post.   Daniel Sturridge then twice blasted over but the contest remained disjointed until an explosive end to the half   In the 43rd minute, Gerrard, whose raking ball was collected by Suarez to draw a handball from Tomkins, coolly converted from the spot.

But West Ham found an instant response in controversial circumstances as Liverpool goalkeeper Mignolet - struck by a flailing arm under pressure from Carroll - dropped Mark Noble's corner for Demel to prod home. Amid understandable protests from the visitors, referee Taylor signalled for the goal, and he did so again following lengthy consultation with his assistant.

Carroll again made a nuisance of himself on set-pieces early in the second period as Liverpool, who began the half with Lucas Leiva on in place of playmaker Philippe Coutinho, found clear chances at a premium.

There were no question marks when Carroll got the better of Mignolet in the 62nd minute, only to see his powerful header from Mohamed Diame's cross cannon back of the crossbar.
But Taylor once again placed himself at the centre of the action soon afterwards, awarding Liverpool a second penalty despite Adrian appearing to get a touch on the ball before bringing down rampaging full-back Flanagan.

Gerrard made no mistake from the spot again before Suarez was denied by both the crossbar and Adrian, as Liverpool closed out the kind of gritty win upon which title triumphs are often built. Culled

Allardyce Questioned Refree Anthony Taylor's Punishment Of Adrian

The Hammers boss questioned referee Anthony Taylor's decision to award the league leaders a second penalty, but did concede the hosts were lucky with their first-half equaliser West Ham manager Sam Allardyce was frustrated by a number of pivotal decisions in his team's 2-1 Premier League loss to Liverpool. The league leaders left Upton Park with all three points after Steven Gerrard converted a penalty in each half to keep their title challenge on track. Allardyce questioned referee Anthony Taylor's punishment of Adrian for a challenge on Jon Flanagan for the second penalty - with television replays confirming that the West Ham goalkeeper had got a touch on the ball first. The manager, though, conceded his side got some luck on Guy Demel's equaliser, when Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet dropped Mark Noble's corner under a robust challenge from Andy Carroll. "Unfortunately we are talking about the officials and not the game," Allardyce told Sky Sports. "We took the game to Liverpool whenever we could and really tested them. "There were fouls given by the referee when he was 60 yards away; the second penalty was not a penalty, Adrian plays the ball. Controversially, we are talking about the referee and the effect he had on the game. "He made big mistakes in the game. He thinks Adrian hasn't played the ball and he has. He has to be 100 per cent certain. He was in a bad position but gave it. "It looked like Andy Carroll fouled the goalkeeper for our goal but we got it. We don't want that, nobody wants that. My real concern is that we are talking about referees every week. "We don't have enough quality referees. They try their best but something has to be done about it."

Messi Unstoppable in Recent Weeks

The Argentina international has been on unstoppable form in recent weeks, where the pacesetters failed to find the net this weekend Liverpool attacker Luis Suarez continues to lead the race for the European Golden Shoe with a one-goal lead over second-placed Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, but Lionel Messi's fine form for Barcelona in recent weeks has seen last year's winner storm into the top three. Suarez proved unable to find the net in Liverpool's 2-1 win over West Ham United, while Ronaldo sat out Madrid's victory over Real Sociedad. Meanwhile, Messi added two goals to his tally as Barcelona beat Betis 3-1 at the weekend and has now closed the gap with Suarez to four, level with Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa. Elsewhere, Jonatan Soriano and Alfred Finnbogason both found the net once as they are battling it out for fifth position, with sixth-placed Daniel Sturridge failing to strike for Liverpool. Torino striker Ciro Immobile has broken into the top 10 following his winner against Catania, while Yaya Toure finds himself on 18 goals too as the top scoring midfielder in Europe. History & How It Works Players such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Diego Forlan have won the European Golden Shoe in the past few seasons, with the Argentina international as the latest winner of the award following his 46 goals in 2012-13. Other noteworthy winners include the likes of Francesco Totti, Luca Toni, Ronaldo, Marco van Basten, Eusebio and Gerd Muller. The weightings are determined by the league's ranking on the Uefa coefficients, which in turn depend on the results of each league's clubs in European competition over the previous five seasons. Goals scored in the top five leagues according to the Uefa coefficients are multiplied by a factor of two, and goals scored in the leagues ranked six to 21 are multiplied by 1.5. Goals in all other leagues are worth one single point. This measure has prevented players from so-called weaker leagues from winning the European Golden Shoe, since a goal scored in, for example, Armenia, Estonia or Azerbaijan, carries less weight than a goal scored in Serie A, La Liga, the Bundesliga or the Premier League.

Steven Gerrard Insists Victory Over Manchester City not Title Decider

The midfielder struck twice to fire Brendan Rodgers' side back to the top of the Premier League but says next Sunday's fixture at Anfield will not decide the title Steven Gerrard insists victory over Manchester City next Sunday will not guarantee Liverpool the Premier League title.

The midfielder netted two penalties in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over West Ham to fire Brendan Rodgers’ side back to the top of the Premier League, two points clear of Chelsea and four ahead of City, although Manuel Pellegrini’s men have two games in hand. "I'm not convinced just yet," Gerrard told Sky Sports.

"There are some very hard games to go.
We’ve got a huge game next week. The message is to stay calm and every time we go out on the pitch we leave every ounce of energy out there." When asked if beating City will hand Liverpool the title, Gerrard replied: "No, I don't think so. "If you said to me now 'beat Manchester City and you get the Premier League title' I think the answer to your question will be 'Yes' but all it will give us is three points and there will be four huge games after that."  Culled from Sky sports

The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Summoned The Zimbabwean Head Of Chancery Over Mugabe's Comment

The Federal Governmenton Thursday summoned the Zimbabwean Head of Chancery over remarks credited to President Robert Mugabe, which depicted Nigerians as very corrupt people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Zimbabwean Head of Chancery, Stanley Kunjeku,in Abuja to formally lodge a protest.
The Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr Martin Uhomoibhi, described Mugabes comment as “vitriolic and denigrating on Nigeria and Nigerians. “We were very concerned when we read that on the occasion of the 90th birthday of President Mugabe, he took off considerable time to vituperate about Nigeria.
He said Mugabe’s comments reflected “what we consider to be a strong aversion of our country, remarks which we consider denigrating and un-statesmanly on Nigeria and Nigerians in general”. “He was reported to have said Nigerians are corrupt people when he hosted service chiefs on his 90th birthday. “We want to present the strongest protest in that statement; not only does it not reflect the reality in our country, but to come from a sitting president of a brotherly country is most unkind and very dishonourable, he said.

Uhomoibhi said the Zimbabwean presidents comment was unfortunate, given the role played by Nigeria in the liberation struggle in southern Africa.
He said Nigeria had always stood with Zimbabwe “shoulder to shoulder since independence and was one of the first countries to congratulate Mugabe on his re-election. “At the point sanctions were imposed on your country, Nigeria empathised with Zimbabwe, he said. Later, the permanent secretary told newsmenthat Nigerias reaction to thecomment was not belated, given thatit had been in the public domain since March 15. “In our diplomatic parlance, we do not react the way people would want us to react; we have to verify and articulate our position, he said.

In his response, Kunjeku said Nigerias protest would be forwarded to Harare. Meanwhile, Uhomoibhi has condemned the reported attacks on Nigerians in South Africa last week. “We condemn in strong terms, any acts of racism, xenophobia and discrimination perpetrated by whomsoever, including in that particular country. “We are appalled that these incidents occur from a country that we hold in highest esteem and which is a brotherly country to Nigeria. “We hope that due processes would be taken so that this does not happen (again).” The permanent secretary also called on the South African Government to take appropriate actions against those responsible for the attacks.
He urged South Africa to abide by its commitment to international standards of behaviour and cordial relations between both countries.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that onApril 2 and3, some Nigerians werehospitalised in Pretoria after attacks by organised gangs in South Africa. Also, no fewer than 25 shops owned by Nigerians in Johannesburg and Pretoria were looted by the South African gangs. (NAN)   Stay up to date

Multi-millionaire Husband Offers Hitman $80,000 To Murder Model Wife

Monica tried to relaunch her acting and modeling career at the end of 2010 but her husband objected from the get-go, according to the source close to the investigation.
And when he discovered she had also done an underwear shoot with fashion photographer Kenneth Matthews he 'hit the roof;'  Their relationship fell apart and they began a bitter custody battle over their two daughters.
Some months later Monica discovered her husband had been taped trying to hire a friend to kill her.
Monica Olsen (pictured), 32, gave up her catwalk career to marry the former waste disposal magnate turned vitamin tycoon Dino Guglielmelli (inset) in 2003.
But after the births of their two daughters she wanted to return to work. Already a successful businesswoman she relaunched her modelling career with this shoot. But a source said: 'He became insanely jealous. He told her she needed to stay home and care for their daughters'. The divorced and Guglielmelli is accused of trying to get a friend to kill her. 'He told her she needed to stay home and care for their daughters. By now Monica was concerned for her own safety.

His anger was uncontrollable. 'But she insisted she wanted her career back. And that's when things turned really ugly. He banned her from having a life of her own. 'He stopped her doing anymore movie shoots, he killed a possible movie deal. 'That's when Monica knew she needed to leave him.
And Dino went crazy.  He was a control freak who needed to be win at everything. It was then he allegedly hired the hitman.' As his behavior became more bizarre, Montreal-born Monica asked him to leave their Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, ranch.
She claims he responded by demanding custody of their daughters and calling cops to accuse her of attacking him. Monica spent a terrifying night in a jail cell, then filed for divorce.
But in October major case detectives from Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told her they’d arrested Guglielmelli for attempted murder. Guglielmelli allegedly offered ex Army veteran Richard Fuhrmann $80,000 to kill Monica.
The would-be hitman went to the police, then secretly recorded a 90-minute lunch conversation.
On the tapes, which were played during a pre-trial hearing at a San Fernando court, Guglielmelli is heard saying: 'I’ll be happy when it is all over.'  After discussing 'specifics' on how to get rid of Monica, he then asks Furhmann: 'There’s no way for them to track it back to me?' And he is also heard on tape reassuring Furhmann: 'You’re going to get paid.
Don’t worry about that – I’ve got you covered.' The burly 52-year-old is set to stand trial next month on attempted murder and solicitation to murder charges. culled

36-year-old food vendor conceals wrap of cocaine in her vagina

The Nigerian National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 36-year-old food vendor for concealing wraps of cocaine in her vagina. According to Sahara Reporters,Chinelo Okorom Lynnette was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos during the inward screening of passengers who arrived via an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia The NDLEA said Chinook has already “excreted” 685g of cocaine and remains under observation.
Commander of NDLEA at the airport, Hamza Umar said. “The suspect tested positive for drug ingestion and vaginal insertion. She, however, expelled a total of 685 grammes of substance that tested positive for cocaine while under observation at the airport”.
The suspect confessed to the crime, but claimed that she was lured into drug trafficking on the pretext that she would be importing female bags. “I am a food vendor at Ajangbadi, Lagos and have never been involved in crime.
I am a victim of man’s cruelty to man”, she lamented in her statement. “My husband abandoned me with four children two years ago. I work hard to pay their fees and ensure their proper upkeep.
The last straw that devastated me was when the landlord forcefully ejected me.
I had nowhere to turn to for solace”. Chinelo said she was “crying like a baby” when a man appeared out of the blue to offer a shoulder to cry on, asking her to wipe away her tears and promising to introduce her to importation business.
I felt he was God-sent until he sponsored my trip to Addis Ababa. When I got to Ethiopia, he told me to take cocaine to Nigeria.
Initially I disagreed, but he threatened to recover his investment at all cost.

Stop Attributing Success Of Women to Sexual Relationships With Their Bosses-Abimbola Fashola Warns

3 hours ago While celebrating this year’s International Women’s day at the Police College in Ikeja on Thursday, the Lagos State first lady warned while delivering her speech that people should stop attributing women’s success to sexual relationships with their male bosses at work.
She said; “This year’s theme, ‘Equality for women is progress for all,’ is very apt; women should not be prevented from doing the things that they are qualified and equipped to do simply because they are women.
Unfortunately when a woman rises fast to a certain height, her proficiency in the said field is ignored.
Rather, various unpalatable premises are brought to the fore as reasons for her success.
Nigerians should stop alluding a woman’s success to sexual relationships with her bosses because we don’t do that to men.”

Nato warns Russia against further intervention

NATO warns Russia against further intervention
APRIL 8, 2014 BY BBC Leave a Comment

NATO has warned Russia that further intervention in Ukraine would be a “historic mistake” with grave consequences.
Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Moscow must pull back troops it has massed on the Ukrainian border.
On Tuesday, Ukraine regained control of one of the government buildings occupied by pro-Russian activists in the east of the country.
Moscow has said that using force to end the protests could lead to civil war. However, in Luhansk, officials said “radicals” occupying the state security building had placed explosives and were holding about 60 people against their will.
Kiev says the unrest in the east is being fomented by Russia following its annexation of the Crimean peninsula.
Russia took control in Crimea – where Russian-speakers are in a majority – after a disputed referendum.
“I urge Russia to step back and not escalate the situation in east Ukraine,” Rasmussen said in Paris where he was attending a seminar on NATO reforms. “If Russia were to intervene further in Ukraine, it would be an historic mistake.
It would have grave consequences for our relationship with Russia and it would further isolate Russia internationally.
” The US and the EU have already imposed targeted sanctions on Russian and Ukrainian individuals over the annexation of Crimea.
Rasmussen added: “We call on Russia to pull back the tens of thousands of troops it has massed on Ukraine’s borders, engage in a genuine dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities and respect its international commitments.”

Bayern Munich suffered first league defeat in 54 matches

Bayern Munich suffered their first Bundesliga defeat since October 2012 as their record 53-match unbeaten league run was ended in a 1-0 defeat at Augsburg. Coach Pep Guardiola named a weakened team for the Bavarian derby and paid the price as Bayern were beaten for the first time the league since losing 2-1 at home to Bayer Leverkusen on October 28, 2012.

With one eye on Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final clash at home to Manchester United, with the tie level at 1-1, Guardiola started with three teenagers, giving Bundesliga debuts to wing-backs Ylli Sallahi and Mitchell Weiser while Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg was named on the left wing.

The gamble backfired when Weiser lost possession to Augsburg’s Daniel Baier who fed Sascha Moelders and the Augsburg striker blasted his shot past Manuel Neuer with 31 minutes gone to claim the winning goal. “We tried everything and fought until the end.

You can’t always win in football and we have to accept that. Now we have to prepare as quickly as possible for our ‘final’ against Manchester United,” Guardiola said.

It was the third game in succession Bayern have fallen behind and Guardiola responded by bringing stars Mario Goetze, David Alaba and Thomas Mueller off the bench.
Left-back Alaba hit the post with 68 minutes gone as Bayern pushed in vain for the goal to keep alive hopes of becoming the first team to go through a Bundesliga campaign undefeated.

Having lost 4-2 at Borussia Dortmund in July’s German Super Cup final and beaten 3-2 at home to Manchester City in the Champions League group stage last December, this was only Bayern’s third defeat of the season since Guardiola took charge in June. Bayern were already confirmed Bundesliga champions ten days ago when they wrapped up the title with a record seven games to spare. Visit pm news website
