Marion 'Suge' Knight has apparently turned himself in to authorities after he was involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident on Thursday in Compton, California, that left one man dead and put another in the hospital.

According to Mailonline,
Police believe Knight and some other men were involved in an argument on the set of the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton on Thursday afternoon. When the men went to lunch at Tam's Burger's 20 minutes later, Knight, 49, is believed to have followed the men in his red pickup truck before running two of them over in the parking lot.
Knight's lawyer says his client 'accidentally' hit the men but the incident is being treated as a homicide.Lt. John Corina of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detective's unit said:
'Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again.
The people we talked to say it looked like it was an intentional act.They obviously knew each other.They got into some kind of verbal altercation and it escalated.The man who was killed was 55 and the surviving victim is 51. His condition is unknown. 

Early this morning Knight was seen arriving at a Sheriff's West Hollywood Station, ABC 7 Los Angeles reported.  Homicide detectives are interviewing the Death Row Records founder. Blatt admitted Knight was driving the truck but said he was 'confident that once the investigation is completed, he will be totally exonerated'.

'He was in the process of being physically assaulted by two men and in an effort to escape he unfortunately hit two (other) individuals.He was in his car trying to escape.

'  Knight's empty truck was found late Thursday night in a West Los Angeles parking lot. This is all just the most recent in a string of legal problems and police run-ins for Knight. He was shot six times in August at a Los Angeles nightclub at a party hosted by Chris Brown.
Then, he and comedian Katt Williams were arrested in October and charged with felony robbery for allegedly stealing a camera for a woman who was taking photos of the two.

The actual incident took place on September 5, just over a week after Knight had been shot. He had been scheduled to appear in court this week after pleading not guilty in that case and being set free on $500,000 bail. Knight was also arrested in both 2009 and 2010 for his alleged involvement in two robberies.

In 2008 he was also arrested on suspicion of drug possession and assault. In 1996 he was driving with his friend Tupac Shakur when the rapper was shot and killed in the passenger seat, a case that to this day remains unsolved.

In 1997 he was sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted in an assault case, and was released in 2001.
He was sent back two years later for violating his parole - after he hit a parking attendant.

The pilots of AirAsia  Flight 8501 cut power to a critical computer system that normally prevents planes from going out of control shortly before it plunged into the Java Sea, two people with knowledge of the investigation said.

According to Bloomberg,the action appears to have helped trigger the events of Dec. 28, when the Airbus Group NV A320 climbed so abruptly that it lost lift and it began falling with warnings blaring in the cockpit, the people said. All 162 aboard were killed.
The pilots had been attempting to deal with alerts about the flight augmentation computers, which control the A320’s rudder and also automatically prevent it from going too slow.

After initial attempts to address the alerts, the flight crew cut power to the entire system, which comprises two separate computers that back up each other, the people said. While the information helps show how a normally functioning A320’s flight-protection system could have been bypassed, it doesn’t explain why the pilots pulled the plane into a steep climb, the people said.
Even with the  computers shut off, the pilots should have been able to fly the plane manually, they said.
Airbus discourages pilots from cutting power to systems because electronics in the highly computerized aircraft are interconnected and turning off one component can affect others, John Cox, a former A320 pilot who is now a safety consultant, said in an interview.

The latest insight into what could have led to the AirAsia plane’s crash comes as it was revealed the co-pilot was actually at the controls of the doomed flight just before it plunged into the ocean.

Indonesia's lead investigator said the Airbus, which was less than halfway into a two-hour flight from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore when it disappeared, was being piloted by second-in-command Remi Plesel. He was flying Flight QZ8501 prior to it crashing into the sea, not Captain Iriyanto - an experienced former military jet pilot .

The government has apparently warned that Sajida al-Rishawi and other jailed ISIS commanders would be 'quickly judged and sentenced' in revenge for Muath al-Kaseasbeh's death.
It comes after a deadline for a possible prisoner swap allegedly set by ISIS passed yesterday with no clue over the fate of al-Kaseasbeh or fellow Japanese hostage Kenji Goto. Elijah Magnier, chief international correspondent for Kuwait's Al Rai newspaper, told MailOnline:

 'I have reliable contact in the Jordanian government who says a message has been passed to ISIS.It warns that if they kill the pilot they will implement the death sentences for Sajida and other ISIS prisoners as soon as possible.' GEJ's Team trapped as Boko Haram militants attack Maiduguri

Members of the presidential advance team that accompanied President Goodluck Jonathan to Saturday’s presidential campaign rally in Maiduguri, Borno State, have been trapped in the Borno State capital, following an attack launched on the town by Boko Haram terrorists.

They were scheduled to leave Maiduguri after the rally on Saturday, but had been advised to stay back for their safety by the military authorities.The advanced team is made up of security personnel, other staff attached to the president and the media.

It was learnt that the armed forces were battling the insurgents while members of the advanced team had taken refuge at the offices of the Department of State Services (DSS) within the state capital, over which a curfew had already been imposed.The team was still holed up as serious fighting raged between the military and the terrorists on Sunday afternoon.

However, the situation was said to have been brought under control at the time of this report, with the military fully in control of the city.
They were said to have extended their search for remnants of the terrorists to the surrounding villages, with a view to clearing them away and creating security cordon for the team to leave the town. One of those trapped said on telephone from Maiduguri on Sunday that “they (military) said they have to comb the bushes to get rid of the insurgents and they said they might not finish today, meaning that we cannot leave today (Sunday).

“Those trapped in the president’s team are members of the media, medical and security personnel. The protocol team took risk and left on their own. That was before the terrorists started advancing.

“We wanted to join them but we were warned by the security guys. The protocol believed it was riskier to join convoy because it would have attracted the attention of the Boko Haram. We are now regretting we didn’t follow them.

” Meanwhile, the Nigerian military, on Sunday, launched both air and land attacks on Boko Haram sect members in Maiduguri and Mongunu, Borno State, in an attempt to repel the insurgents, who tried to overrun the towns.

It was gathered that the Boko Haram sect made attempts to overrun Maiduguri, the state capital, on Sunday, but the Nigerian military was quick to repel the attacks.
Meanwhile, curfew has been imposed on Maiduguri with immediate effect, till further notice, as Nigerian troops continue to repel attacks by terrorists around Maiduguri and Mongunu.

According to a statement issued by PRNigeria, calm had been restored in Maiduguri and Konduga, as operations continued with patrols and surveillance. The curfew on Maiduguri is expected to be relaxed as soon as mopping operation is concluded.

Politician beheaded, had his head and genitals chopped off and then cooked for committing adultery

A Tanzanian politician had his head and genitals chopped off and then cooked after adultery claims on Friday, a local police chief told AFP.

"Five people stormed Madirisha’s room wielding machetes, beheaded him, chopped off legs, hands and genitals. The assailants later cooked the chopped off body parts outside the house," police chief Dhahiri Kidavashari told the agency. 

According the newspaper, the victim, Richard Madirisha, 31, was a local political leader. Three men were detained by police as a result. Graphic pic below please
