Developing Customer service Skills.


  Gone are the days when things are done manually.It was difficult in those days to implement good customer service because of old school technology in place. Today with the help of computer software, smartphones, mobile payments and credit cards, customers are getting better and faster services.
  Businesses that are doing well globally are training their customer service reps to abide by company standards. Poor customer service can crash a company, no matter the number of years the company has been in existence. Here are some of the skills that should be adopted by customer service reps:-



1. Customer service reps must make sure he remember a customer's name without the help of technology. It makes customers feel special.
2. Customer service reps should take the time to know client one on one.
3. Customer service reps should develop active listening skills.
4. It is the duty of the customer service reps to give genuine compliments to clients.

 Customer service in my opinion means rendering service to customer.Hiring customer service rep is not all that is involved in rendering quality customer service. Adequate training for the customer service rep is also required.
