The source was quoted as saying that IBB is the only Nigerian having the ability and political will to salvage the nation. In 1985 when Nigeria was faced with the same situation of economic downturn that led to recession he IBB was the one who came to the rescue, he is alive and he can do it again. It could be recalled that General Ibrahim Babangida was the one who staged the military coup that led to the overthrown of the president in 1985 and is set to have another shot at the presidency but this time through the strength of the ballot.
