In some countries like United states and Canada it is generally known as Resume. The contents of both Resume and CV are the same and includes the following:

The vast majority of people are not good at selling and on many occasions feel shy and uncomfortable talking about themselves. I will show you how to overcome all these and add value to any interview which you may attend during your job search process.

The CV is an important tool an individual need to explore career openings and is a selling document for the individual. As with any sale there are two important elements that must be present namely the features of the product and service and the benefit that is gained from using the product.Your CV must contain both elements.

What is a Resume or CV?

A resume is a document that is used to present background and skills of an individual. A resume can be used for various reasons but mostly to secure a new job, to contest for a political post and to secure political  appointments.Typically the most popular use of a resume is to secure a new job.To stand out from hundreds if not thousands of  job seekers in the labour market and get interview invitation, one must prepare a very good resume. The background and skills presentation must be perfect.

There are many things that make up a very good resume. As a professional writer,I have broken down the three  important elements of a professional resume. The same rules apply if you are an entry level applicant or an executive.

Target the Résumé Reader:

It does not matter how you like you resume or how your resume appear to you.
The most important thing is the reader likes your resume. The only person you need to impress is the reader of your resume.Since you don't know who the reader of your resume will be you need to do everything possible to get him interested in you.If you are applying for executive job role your resume must have corporate feel. Before you apply for any job you need to imagine that you are the hiring manager and ask yourself if your resume is targeted towards the role advertised.
